YuTU Child Safety Policy

Introduction

At YuTU, we are deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our users, especially children. We strictly prohibit any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on our platform and work actively to prevent, identify, and address any content or behavior that violates this principle. This policy outlines our standards, procedures, and commitments to comply with UK child safety laws and Google Play’s Child Safety Standards.

Published Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

  1. Prohibition of CSAE:
  • YuTU explicitly prohibits users from creating, uploading, sharing, or distributing content that facilitates the exploitation or abuse of children, including:
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
  • Grooming, sextortion, or trafficking of children.
  • Sexualization of minors in any form.
  • Any violation will result in immediate removal of content and suspension or banning of the responsible user(s).
  1. Content Moderation:
  • YuTU employs a combination of automated tools and manual review processes to monitor for and remove any CSAE content.
  • We partner with trusted organizations to enhance detection and reporting of harmful material.
  1. Reporting CSAE:
  • Confirmed CSAM is reported to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and, where required, to UK law enforcement authorities.

In-App Mechanism for User Feedback

  • Users can report any content or behavior directly through an in-app feedback mechanism located under the “Report Concerns” section of the app’s menu.
  • This section provides:
  • A direct link to this Child Safety Policy.
  • A form to report content or concerns.
  • Contact information for our support team.

Addressing CSAM

  1. Action Plan for CSAM:
  • Upon receiving a report of suspected CSAM:
  • Content is immediately flagged and removed pending review.
  • Relevant UK authorities, including the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and local law enforcement, are notified if the content is confirmed to violate laws.
  • YuTU takes appropriate action to protect the victim, prevent further harm, and cooperate fully with investigations.
  1. Prevention:
  • YuTU uses advanced technology to detect and block CSAM proactively.
  • Regular staff training ensures rapid identification and response to potential violations.

Compliance with UK Child Safety Laws

YuTU adheres to all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the UK, including:

  • Reporting confirmed CSAM to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) or local law enforcement.
  • Ensuring compliance with the UK Online Safety Bill and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintaining processes to prevent child exploitation on our platform.
  • Aligning with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards and Tech Coalition best practices.
